Meet the Queen Bee behind Swift Acres Apiary & Farm, Marci Swift. Marci’s journey into beekeeping began just seven years ago when she enrolled in an introductory beekeeping course with her eldest son. What started as a curiosity quickly blossomed into a deep love for beekeeping- she quickly grew from her first 2 little hives. In 2022, Marci received the prestigious Agricultural Leadership award from the county of Peterborough, a testament to her hard work and dedication. Swift Acres recently added a small herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats to their farm to expand their offerings.
At Swift Acres, they take pride in offering raw, unpasteurized honey products, beeswax candles, and natural body essentials like beeswax lip balm and goat’s milk soap. Marci’s commitment to excellence extends to her products- from creating the best tasting all-natural honey to crafting sustainable candles using beeswax and recyclable packaging. Their handmade soaps, produced with milk from their goat herd, reflect their devotion to natural scents and minimal environmental impact.
