Painting
After a 36 year career as a graphic designer, illustrator and a colour correction artist, David now creates paintings and does printmaking full time from his studio in North Kawartha. A landscape artist who has had solo exhibitions at The Art Gallery of Bancroft and Colborne St. Gallery, Fenelon Falls, he also participates in the Apsley Studio Tour and Buckhorn Arts Festival yearly. He has sat on exhibition juries and participates in group shows and also participates in many Arts Festivals throughout Peterborough County. He was included in the book: The Artists of Kawartha. He has taught workshops for Adults and teens in painting and general art studies in Peterborough County and York Region. He has placed first in painting categories, received best in show as well as receiving numerous honourable mentions.
So In honour of Canada`s national flag being 60 years old today we have put a flag up at the house. Showing our patriotism for our nation Canada. True North strong and Free. Proud Canadians
