All my life, I have been drawing and painting. Farming sheep introduced me to the magic of wool, expanding my horizons to incorporate fibres into my art. Now, a former sheep farmer and full-time artist, I ‘paint’ with wool by needle felting and dyeing the fibres. I use a combination of an industrial felting machine and a handheld felting machine, finishing all pieces by hand to create one-of-a-kind tapestries and clothing. I hand-dye my fibres to achieve the perfect blend of colours, also making available lovely hand-dyed yarns.
