The Apsley Autumn Studio Tour group invites all interested artists to apply for membership in our autumn studio tour. All applications will be subject to jurying by a panel of three studio tour members. The Apsley Studio Tour is a well-established event through which craftspeople and artists sell their work over a 2-day period on the 3rd weekend of September each year.

Our mission statement: 

Creating public awareness of the Arts, promoting and supporting the artists in our community.

Deadline for Applications: November 1st.

Applications received after November 1st will be added to our waiting list, held for jurying for the following year’s tour.

Submission Requirements:

You must be a resident in the North Kawarthas, living and/or having your permanent studio space within the boundaries of the studio tour area.

If you reside outside the tour area and wish to apply as a Guest Artist you must have confirmed a compatible member studio to host you.

You must be a professional artist – and as such you are committed, working at a competent level and viewed as such by your peers.

You must have a functioning studio space and be able to display your work so it is available to be viewed by the public.

No kits or course art are allowed – original works only.

New artist studios will be visited and their work juried in person before being given approval to participate. The decision of the jury is final.

The Apsley Studio Tour is made possible by the co-operative efforts of all participating artists. When accepted onto the tour, you will be required to assist in the promotion of the tour, to attend meetings and to volunteer as required to complete other tasks pertaining to the organization and staging of the tour.
